Everlast | Fighter Series | Adelaida Ruiz

After taking a 10 year break from boxing to raise her kids, Adelaida ‘La Cobra’ Ruiz returned to the sport and turned pro in 2017. Ruiz climbed her way up the rankings, representing her family and her home by becoming the interim WBC World Super Flyweight Champion.

Arnold Barboza Jr., born in LA, followed the influence of his father who got him started in boxing at 5 1/2 years old.

“My father started me off - he actually left his professional kickboxing career to train me. He said he saw something in me, so he quit and just focused on me the whole time.”

Now, motivated by his kids, Barboza Jr. has a professional record of 28-0 (10 KOs) and is raising his family in his hometown. Representing both his city and his family with aspirations to give them the best life possible.
